Each semester, the MOC-Floyd Valley Foundation sponsors an Employee/Volunteer of the Semester. A picture of the recipient is displayed in all 4 MOC-Floyd Valley school buildings and the Central administrative office.

Joyce Binneboese is MOC-FV's Volunteer of the Semester . For over three years, she has spent her lunch hour twice a week helping Mrs. Muilenburg's third grade class. Mrs. Binneboese enjoys "seeing the kids get a jump on things" "If I had to do it all over again, I think I would be a teacher." "They are filled with confidence after she teaches them," replied Mrs. Muilenburg with appreciation. I don't think she has any idea how important she is." Students are also grateful.
