Each year, the MOC-Floyd Valley Foundation sponsors an Employee/Volunteer of the Year. A picture of the recipient is displayed in all 4 MOC-Floyd Valley school buildings and the Central administrative office.


Lori Mars is being recognized as the Volunteer of the Year at the MOC-Floyd Valley High School for her dedicated efforts in managing the concessions at the High School. In the recent past she has managed the summer concessions for baseball and softball for 13 years. She goes above and beyond the call of duty and does everything with a "cheerful servant's heart". The Foundation salutes her for being a valued volunteer of the District.



Susan Klein is being recognized as the Volunteer of the Year at the MOC-Floyd Valley Middle School for her dedicated time and effort in record keeping and coordinating the details for the Middle School's Washington D.C. trip. The Foundation salutes her for being a valued volunteer of the District.



Julie Haack is being recognized as the Volunteer of the Year at the Hospers Elementary School for her dedicated efforts as President of the Parents Plus group. She was instrumental in organizing parent sponsored activities throughout the year in support of the school program. The Foundation salutes her for being a valued volunteer of the District.



Winova Van Regenmorter is being recognized as the Volunteer of the Year at the Orange City Elementary School for her dedicated efforts in sorting and counting boxtops which she sends in so that the school can collect the redemption money. She organized contests that motivated the students to bring in their boxtops. Due to her hard work and time the school has received over $4,000 this year alone. The Foundation salutes her for being a valued volunteer of the District.
