Butter Frosting
6 T. softened butter
4½ c. powdered sugar
2 T. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Additional milk (if needed)
  1. In large bowl, beat butter until smooth.
  2. Gradually add 2 cups powdered sugar, beating well.
  3. Slowly beat in the milk and vanilla.
  4. Gradually beat in remaining powdered sugar.
If needed, beat in enough additional milk to reach a spreading consistency.
