Buttermilk Brownies

(for German Chocolate Cake)

1 slightly beaten egg
⅔ c. evaporated milk
⅔ c. sugar
¼ c. butter
  1. Cook and stir beaten egg, evaporated milk, sugar, and butter over medium heat for 6-8 minutes or until thick and bubbly.
  2. Remove from heat; stir in 1⅓ c. flaked coconut and ½ c. chopped pecans.
  3. Cover and cool thoroughly.
Yield-9x13 cake
