Cream Cheese Frosting
1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
½ c. butter or margarine, softened
2 tsp. vanilla
5¾ c. to 6¼ c. powdered sugar
  1. Beat cream cheese, butter, and vanilla with electric mixer until light and fluffy.
  2. Gradually add 2 cups of the powdered sugar, beating well.
  3. Gradually beat in additional powdered sugar to reach spreading consistency.
