Macaroni and Cheese
1½ c. uncooked macaroni noodles
2 c. medium white sauce
1 c. grated cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper (to taste)
¼ c. buttered bread crumbs (1/4 c. bread crumbs and 2 T. melted butter)

White Sauce recipe:
2 T. butter
3 T. flour
2 c. milk
  1. Boil water and cook noodles until tender. (Follow package directions)

  2. While noodles are boiling, prepare white sauce.

  3. When sauce has thickened, add the grated cheese. Stir sauce over low heat until cheese melts. Add salt and pepper to taste. Drain macaroni noodles. Combine noodles and cheese sauce. Pour into greased casserole. Top with buttered bread crumbs and bake at 350 for about 20 minutes or until crumbs have browned.
