Monkey Bread

1 (10oz.) pkg. Refrigerated biscuits

2 T. sugar

1 t. cinnamon

⅓ c. brown sugar

3 T. Margarine

1 T. water

  1. Cut biscuits into quarters.
  2. Mix sugar and cinnamon, shake biscuits in cinnamon and sugar mixture.
  3. Use an 8 ½ inch ring mold or improvise by putting an inverted custard cup in the center of a 9 inch round glass dish and arrange biscuit pieces around the center.
  4. Place brown sugar, margarine, and water in a 1 cup-measuring cup. Heat in microwave 1 minute, stirring until margarine is melted.
  5. Pour cooked syrup mixture evenly over biscuit pieces.
  6. Cook on full power for 2 minutes and 30 seconds, rotating dish halfway throughout cooking time if your microwave does not have a turntable.
  7. Let stand 2 minutes before inverting onto serving platter or dinner plate.
